Ohio in the 2020 Election

Every election since 2000 seems to get down to the same set of swing states. Ohio, with its 18 electoral votes, is always one of them. So what happens in a state like Ohio that makes it bounce off each side of the pinball machine? To examine this, I am taking a look at five northern Ohio counties — Ashtabula, Wood, Erie, Trumbull, and Sandusky to figure out the swing and then comparing them to my own county — Putnam County, NY, which is a Ruby Red county.
