I agree with much of this article but I also believe that we study people based on characteristics. While no race is monolithic we tend to group people together. We still portray native Americans with feather, as if they should never have a hat. Even white people have ways of being a normal white. We can’t assimilate our sociologist yet for some reason. Possibly because that is how we live
