Do COVID Mask and Vaccination Rules Make Us Question Science?
The message gives an opportunity for excuses
At the height of COVID in 2020, I traveled via airplane and other means throughout the United States. Almost everyone questioned my judgment. A majority of the places I visited during the early part of 2020 did not require a mask and had few or no distancing rules.
The uneven rule on masking and distancing was evident very early during the pandemic throughout the United States. In the Spring and Summer of 2020, I departed from a desolate airport in New York City only to arrive at destinations that were packed with people. During 2020 there was no vaccine available and in many of my destinations, it appeared as if COVID did not exist.
Fast forward to the Spring of 2021, I am double vaccinated but the mask and distancing rules have grown more confusing everywhere. Another jump to Fall, 2021, and things have not gotten much better.
Have the uneven policy decisions contributed toward questioning science or the efficacy of the vaccines?
Here are my below real-world scenarios that I have either been involved in or had a friend explain a situation that I deem credible and truthful.
