Democrats are the worst.

And we don’t know what to do about it.

It is a hard time to be a Democrat. Having experienced all the cuts and bruises of the last election, dealing with the daily heartburn of the headlines, still screaming at the walls for having Kamala Harris shoved down our throats, and PTSDing over Biden’s early spring debate performance, it is enough to make anyone want to retreat into a hole for four years.

I spent the last election cycle assisting in getting local Democrats, those running for Town and County offices, and our Congressional district into office.

Every minute of that effort was wasted. All the candidates lost with none of them in close contention. What made this even more gut-wrenching was that we put forward many qualified candidates. In my Town, we had candidates with advanced degrees and boots-on-the-ground experience. The elected Republican candidates were a slate of failures — nobodys with resumes of failure, deceit, or no experience.

The national election was the punch that finished us off. Although it is inconceivable that a second woman could fail against a serial criminal and rapist, she did. Harris’ stance, much like Hillary’s eight years ago, was the knife that did her in — “let’s keep more of the same.”

No originality. No message. No vision.

I railed at Hillary in 2016 when she was shoved down our throats to silence our voices. Harris used the exact playbook of Hillary with an even worse down-ballot…
